Attention French language teachers! Market Hall is bringing the French language troupe Improv from Quebec for two school shows

Improv présente Le Dépotoir
Improvisation socialement conscient pour les étudiants du 7ième au 12ième année
Friday, April 23 at 10am and 1pm
In Celebration of Earth Day 2010

Le Dépotoir is a hilarious interactive and spontaneous theatre show performed entirely in French. Suitable for French immersion and core French students, this performance is a celebration of French culture as well as social consciousness.

Students, teachers and support staff are asked to bring items from home or from school that serve no useful purpose any more for the performance. The troupe roots through the onstage mêlée of items to create uproariously hilarious and spontaneous skits based entirely on random objects unearthed from the pile of bizarre items. Experience and participate in the most deliriously funny recycling moments imaginable.

This is an amazing opportunity to see a world-class calibre performance, whose quality and originality has thrilled audiences across Ontario and Quebec, as well as France and Switzerland.

Objects brought to the performance will be donated to a charity in our community and redistributed to those less fortunate.

"The items you bring are recycled; the jokes we make are fresh!" - Éric Marcoux of Improv
