about the fund
the innovation fund offers financial assistance with the cost of renting market hall to those groups or individuals who choose to perform at market hall. assistance is offered primarily by meeting the dollar per head portion of the rental fee. subsidized rehearsal rates are also available.
selection criteria
market hall disperses funds from the innovation fund to grassroots, local and emerging artists who choose to perform at market hall.
how to apply
application must be made to market hall’s administrator in writing (email is fine) in advance of the event. It should clearly state how your group or event meets the selection criteria (above) and which type of assistance is required: performance or rehearsal. please tell us something about yourself and your event and the way(s) in which you will acknowledge the support from market hall and the innovation fund.
note: applications are considered on a first come, first served basis. please apply as early as possible as funds are limited.
