we've been told for years that market hall is a natural incubator for the arts in our community. so, with the generous support of ontario trillium foundation we hired a development officer whose job was to help market hall create a sustainable model for residencies at the Hall and support our very first company in residence develop their audience base, their operational capacity and their financial stability.
our vision is that the Market Hall will have concurrent and ongoing artistic residencies and that our relationship with each artist(s) will be unique. We will offer support tailored to their needs in a way that is sustainable for the hall and beneficial to them as an artist(s).
